We would like to draw your attention to our new further training programme for teachers entitled
„Building diverse communities – acceptance and management of diversity, prevention of discrimination in opportunity-creating education”
which has received its certificate of registration on 21st May 2013 with the programme no. 957/93/2013.
The aim of the programme is the participants’ competence-building in relation to discrimination, equal opportunities and social diversity, also including community-building (covering acceptance, opennes, problem solving, co-operational capabilities and communication). The other aim of the programme is to integrate this acquired knowledge and mindset into everyday practice. Upon successful completion, the teacher will be able to accept and manage differences and also realise the value of social diversity. Through this they will have the ability to realise and prevent the various types of discrimination that may present themselves in the community and positively influence their immediate surroundings, the environment they work in, and develop and shape the coming generations’ inclusive culture. The educators’ experience, gained in the long term, makes them well-suited to effect change in social attitudes and the sharing of knowledge.
The 30 hour training will be held upon application of at least 3 persons.
